Weekly Principal Message
Hello Zeh Families,
Next Friday, October 30th, we will have our annual Fall Costume Parade at 8:45 on the field. Students should come to school dressed in their costumes. After morning recess, we will line up and parade around the field. Families are welcome to attend. Please park along Howard Street and walk directly to the field. You do not need to sign in at the office. After the parade, students will return to their classrooms and change out of their costumes before continuing with the day. Please make sure students wear regular clothes underneath their costumes! If you do not want your child to participate, please contact your child’s teacher. An alternate activity will be available. Students will also have the option to opt out of the parade that morning.
Student Costume Parade Guidance
Wear costumes to school
Wear clothing under costumes; students should be able to change out independently
No Masks (student faces should be visible)
No weapons, sharp objects, or violent-themed costumes
Family Parade Guidance
As the weather begins to cool down, I also wanted to remind families that students will continue to have recess outside whenever it is safe to do so. Please check the weather each day and make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the cooler temperatures. Dressing in layers is a great way to help students stay comfortable throughout the day as temperatures change. Please also label your child’s belongings with their name so we can return any lost items to their owners. Thank you for helping us make sure students are prepared for outdoor recess. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Have a great weekend!

Bus Reminder
All students in Kindergarten through Grade 3 must be met at the bus stop by their parent/guardian or caregiver. If a parent/guardian or caregiver is not present at the bus stop to receive your Kindergartener through Grade 3 student off the bus, your student will be returned to their elementary school for parent/guardian pick-up at the end of the route. The purpose of these procedures is to provide uniform practices for transporting students to and from school, and to and from school-sanctioned events. Permission can be granted by the principal on a case-by-case basis if a student in grade 2 or grade 3 exhibits the ability to be dropped off without direct supervision.
