Zeh Informational Update: Family Newsletter 10/16/26

Hello Zeh Families,

We had a great Zebra Families and Community Meeting earlier today. Our preschoolers joined their families for the first time, which was very exciting. Our theme was bullying prevention and friendship, and it was wonderful to spend time together as a school community!

As we begin planning field trips for the year, we are looking for registered nurses in our Zeh community who are interested in working as substitute nurses for field trips. District-hired and trained nurses are needed for each trip to ensure students have access to the care they need while away from school. You can choose which trips you would like to attend, and the position is paid. If you are interested or know someone who might be, please contact me directly, and I can help get the process started.

• 11/3 - PTO Sponsored 3rd Grade Enrichment - Darius Coombs from Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe

Details:

• We did it!! Thanks to the generous support of the entire Zeh community, the Fun Run Fundraiser surpassed its $10,000 fundraising goal. The donations will help send every grade school student on a school field trip. Additional funds will support enrichment programs, student aid, teacher grants and so much more. The Fun Run itself was a blast and the kids enjoyed running with their friends and collecting bracelets. A big thank you to ALL the parent volunteers who helped the event run smoothly. And a big shout out to Mr Bell for being a great sport every year. This year was no different. 

• Walk/Bike to School: A big thank you to everyone who joined us for our Walk/Bike to School Day! The weather was perfect and it was wonderful to see so many families participating together. Thank you also to our 5th grade volunteers who made the event run smoothly. Your energy and enthusiasm made the event a great success—we can’t wait for the next one!  See you there! 

• Fall Book Fair coming up soon! This year’s fall book fair will be held November 2-6. Stay tuned for more details and info on how to volunteer!

• NHOP Restaurant Fundraiser (10/27 & 10/29): Our first restaurant fundraiser of the year. Order take out or dine in at NHOP on either of those dates and a portion of the proceeds goes to Zeh. See attached flyer for more details.

• PTO monthly meeting (Monday 11/3): Our next monthly meeting will be held Monday 11/3 at 1:30pm in the conference room. All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Want to get involved but can’t make the meeting? Email us!
