Principal's Message
Dear Zeh Families,
Earlier today, the Algonquin seniors who attended Zeh returned to our school for a final walk through the halls before graduating tomorrow. Students and staff lined the hallways to cheer them on, and many staff members enjoyed reconnecting with their former students. It is a wonderful tradition and one that I look forward to every year.
As we head into next week, we are looking forward to several special events. On Thursday, June 11, from 3:00–4:00 p.m., we invite our Zeh community to join us in celebrating Mrs. Berger and Mrs. Dallaire as they retire at the end of this school year. We will also honor them during our all-school meeting that day and are encouraging students to wear Zeh spirit wear or pink…Mrs. Dallaire’s favorite color, if you didn’t already know:) We are excited to recognize and celebrate these two very special members of our school community.
Next week also includes our 3rd Grade Strings Concert, as well as field trips for students in 1st, 2nd, and 5th grades. It should be a busy week. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mr. Bell jbell@nsboro.k12.ma.us

Staffing Update
The district budget approved at Town Meeting included a few staffing reductions that will impact Zeh next school year:
Library – Currently, each of Northborough’s four elementary schools has its own librarian. Beginning next year, the district will move from four elementary librarians to three. As a result, Mrs. Sheehan’s position was eliminated. Two current librarians, Mrs. Bayley and Mrs. King, will travel to Zeh to provide library instruction and services. Students will continue to attend library classes and check out books on a regular basis, just as they do now.
Math Intervention – Mrs. Clark’s math interventionist position is being eliminated. This position was partially funded through federal Title I funds, which have decreased significantly over the past several years. We will continue to provide math intervention services to students who need additional support, although the structure of those services will look different from what we have used in recent years.
I would like to thank both Mrs. Sheehan and Mrs. Clark for their dedication and service to the Zeh School over the past several years. Their contributions have had a positive impact on students, families, and staff, and we are grateful for all they have done for our school community.

Field Day Volunteers Needed!
Field Day is coming up on Thursday, June 18th! This all day outdoor event consists of fun team building activities for grades K-5 on the school grounds. It is a wonderful way to wind down the school year!
In order to make it a success, we need lots of parent volunteers to run the various activities! Please consider signing up to help (all day, if possible)! This event will take place on June 18th and run from 8:45am to 2:30pm. A complimentary pizza lunch will be provided for all parent volunteers. Sign up HERE to help out!
It is a joyful, carefree day for the kids and special to be a part of, if you can! Sign up to volunteer!
RAIN DATE: Wednesday, June 17th (we will notify Zeh families on Tuesday, the 16th if we need to shift Field Day to the rain date).
***All volunteers must have a current CORI. If you aren't sure, please check with the office.
Thank you so much!
