Principal's Message
Dear Zeh Families,
I’m sending the newsletter a day early since there is no school tomorrow in observance of Eid al-Fitr. There is also no school on Monday, as staff will be attending professional development. I will be joining several of our kindergarten, first & second-grade teachers to learn more about the new UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute) phonics program that we will be implementing districtwide next year.
I also want to be sure our 5th-grade families are aware of the Melican Middle School orientation night this upcoming Thursday, March 26th at 7:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to learn more about what next year will look like as your child transitions to middle school.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Have a great weekend!
Mr. Bell jbell@nsboro.k12.ma.us

Project Adventure Volunteers Needed
It is the time of year to welcome back Project Adventure. Project Adventure is a climbing unit for the gym classes. If this is your first time with Project Adventure, please feel free to reach out and ask any questions to Mrs. DiSimone. If you can only make it to one class, or if you can join us for many classes, we appreciate any help you can provide. We know everyone has busy schedules, but we hope many of you can join us for at least one class, as it is so much fun to watch the students climb and grow! Thank you in advance.

The PTO is collaborating with Proctor, Peaslee, and Lincoln Street PTOs to host a fundraiser at Launch in Wesborough. The deadline for signup is this Mon 3/16. Sign in at the event will begin at 11am and jumping will be from 11:30-1:30.

Kidzfest Planning Meeting (3/30): Planning has begun for our most fun Kidzfest yet…but we still need a lot more help! Among other things, the committee is currently seeking one or more people to make cotton candy, as well as a point person for the high school volunteers at the event. Join us for our next meeting on Monday 3/30 at 7pm at Neighborhood Tavern. Can’t make the meeting but willing to help? Send us an email!
Kidzfest Silent Auction Donations Needed: We are seeking sports tickets, specialty services, gift baskets/gift cards, a few nights at a vacation home, and other goodies to include in our Silent Auction fundraiser. Remember that the success of this event directly impacts continued PTO funding for field trips, enrichment activities, classroom grants, and needed school improvements at Zeh, so get creative!
