Principal's Message

Dear Zeh Families,

Kindergarten registration for the 2026–2027 school year opened this past Monday. If you have a child, or know someone who will be eligible to start kindergarten in August, please visit our Kindergarten Registration website for more information. To ensure a spot at Zeh, we encourage families to complete the registration as soon as possible.

With the warmer weather over the past week, our field has become quite muddy. As a result, some students have gotten their clothes wet or dirty during recess. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide a change of clothes in these situations. If this is something your child may need, please be sure to send an extra set of clothes in their backpack.

A reminder that there is no school on Monday as we celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday.

Mr. Bell

PTO Updates

PTO Updates (1/16)

  • 2/9-2/13: Spring Book Fair

  • 2/9-2/13: Kindness Week and Ahimsa Haven Animal Shelter Donation Drive

  • 2/9: Monthly PTO meeting at 1:30pm in conference room

  • 2/10: Kidzfest Planning Meeting at 7pm at Neighborhood Tavern

  • 5/15: Kidzfest at Zeh from 5:30-7:30pm

Details:

  • Spring Book Fair (2/9-2/13): The Spring Book Fair is right around the corner! Families will be able to shop together at the book fair on the evening of Wed 2/11. Parent volunteers will be needed to help classes shop at the book fair, so stay tuned for more info!

  • Kindness Week (2/9-2/13): As part of Zeh’s celebration of kindness that week, the fourth graders will once again be helping to organize a donation drive for the Ahimsa Haven Animal Shelter in Winchendon. More details to come soon!

  • PTO Monthly Meeting (2/9): Our next monthly meeting will be held on Monday 2/9 at 1:30 in the Zeh conference room. All are welcome! Can’t make the meeting but want to find out more about supporting Zeh? Email us!

  • Kidzfest Planning Meeting (2/10): Mark your calendar for our first planning meeting, which will be held on Tuesday 2/10 at 7pm at Neighborhood Tavern. Come share ideas, talk with other parents in a relaxed setting, and help us make this annual tradition the best one yet!

  • Kidzfest Silent Auction Donations Needed: We are seeking sports tickets, specialty services, gift baskets/gift cards, a few nights at a vacation home, and other goodies to include in our Silent Auction fundraiser. Remember that the success of this event directly impacts continued PTO funding for field trips, enrichment activities, classroom grants, and needed school improvements at Zeh, so get creative! Have something to donate or want more info? Email us!

  • PTO Sponsored 3rd Grade New England Aquarium Field Trip: On 11/19, the third grade traveled to Boston to meet some amazing underwater creatures. The trip connected with their classroom learning. Once again, thanks to all the Zeh families who have supported PTO fundraising and enabled this sea-riously fun opportunity to happen! Also, the PTO wants to belatedly thank the students of Miss Curtis’ class for their thoughtful thank you note!
