Principal's Message

Dear Zeh Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have several five-day weeks ahead before December break, and I’m looking forward to all of the great learning that will happen. Hopefully the weather cooperates!

This week, we received our first snow of the season and it reminded me that I have not reviewed our winter recess procedures with families. As long as we can do so safely, your children will be outside for recess. When there is snow on the field and playground, we do allow students to play in the snow if they have appropriate gear. Otherwise, they remain on the blacktop for recess. To play in the snow, please send your child to school with the following:

  • A warm winter coat

  • Snowpants

  • Boots

  • A hat (a hood on the coat works as well)

  • Gloves or mittens

Thank you for your help in ensuring that your students are appropriately dressed for the weather each day. We also have a growing lost and found. Please label your child’s gear so that we can return it if found. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

ELPAC (Multilingual Parent Advisory Council) Meeting

Dear Families,

We are excited to invite you to our next ELPAC (Multilingual Parent Advisory Council) Meeting on Wednesday, December 11th at 6:30 p.m. in the Algonquin Regional High School Library!

This meeting will be a joyful and welcoming gathering as we:
 ✨
Learn about Holidays Around the World through our conversations
 🍕 Enjoy pizza together
🧸 Provide free babysitting for children
🏀 Welcome Northborough Recreation to share programs and opportunities for families
🤝 And we are also working to welcome
Southborough Recreation to join us as well!

If you’d like, you are welcome to bring a small snack or treat to share, especially something that represents your family’s traditions, but this is completely optional.

ELPAC is a space for multilingual families to connect, share ideas, and learn about community resources that support our students and families. We would love to see you there.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
We look forward to spending the evening with you!

Warmly,
ELPAC Leadership Team
