Principal's Message

Dear Zeh Families,

Now that the fall (and soon winter) weather is here to stay, please make sure your child comes to school dressed for the conditions. We go outside for recess whenever possible, even in light drizzle, wind, or chilly temperatures. Keeping layers along with a hat and gloves in the backpack works well. Fresh air and movement go a long way in helping everyone have a great day of learning!

PTO Updates (10/17)

10/27-10/31: Fall Book Fair
10/28: Family Night
11/3: Monthly meeting at 1:30pm
11/4 & 11/6: PTO restaurant fundraiser at Hillside Grill

Details:

We did it!!!: Thanks to the generous support of the entire Zeh community, the Fun Run Fundraiser surpassed its $10,000 fundraising goal. Together we raised over $10,500 for field trips, teacher grants, enrichment programs and a new projection system in the cafeteria. The Fun Run itself was a blast, and the kids enjoyed running with their friends and collecting bracelets. A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped the event run smoothly. We’re still looking for Mr. Bell under that mound of silly string though ;)

Fall Book Fair (10/27-10/31): Check out the attached flier for details on our upcoming book fair. Any proceeds from the book fair are used for new books for teachers and the Zeh library. We need lots of parent volunteers to help our eager readers shop for books, so be sure to sign up to volunteer! Also, families will have an opportunity to shop at the book fair together during Family Read Aloud Night on Tuesday, 10/28 from 6-7:30. Mark your calendar!

Hillside Grill Fundraiser (11/4 & 11/6): Don’t feel like cooking on those upcoming half days during parent conferences? The PTO has you covered! Order take out or dine in at Hillside Grill on either of those dates, and a portion of the proceeds goes to Zeh. Stay tuned for more details!

Student Absence Reporting

If you need to report your child absent, you can now use this email address: zehattendance@nsboro.k12.ma.us. Please be sure to include your child's name, teacher, and reason for their absence. You can also still report an absence by phone by calling our main line at (508)351-7048.
