Principal's Message

Dear Zeh Families,

This Friday, October 10th, is our Fun Run! Students in grades 3–5 will run from 1:30–1:55, followed by students in grades K–2 from 2:00–2:25. If we reach our fundraising goal of $10,000, students will celebrate by spraying me with silly string at 2:30!

On Monday, we will have an all-school pajama day to celebrate reaching the $2,500 mark. In addition, next week we have some additional whole-school rewards to work toward. At $5,000, students will earn an extra recess, and at $7,500, we’ll celebrate with a picnic lunch.

Families are welcome to attend and cheer on the runners. All students will participate in the run and celebration, regardless of the amount they raised. To help the day run smoothly, please communicate any dismissal plan changes ahead of time by sending a note or email.

We’re looking forward to a fun and exciting day! Have a great weekend!

Mr. Bell

  • 10/10: Fun Run Fundraiser

  • 10/27-10/31: Fall Book Fair

Mark your calendars to come cheer on your runner, and stay tuned for more info on volunteering at the event. One of the PTO’s biggest and most important fundraisers, this year’s proceeds will go towards fully funding field trips for every student, upgrading the school’s audio/visual projection equipment, and maybe even a new gaga pit.  If every student raises just $45, we can meet our schoolwide $10,000 fundraising goal and the kids get to Silly String Mr. Bell!! To donate directly to the Fun Run, visit https://tinyurl.com/2025-zehfunrun.

  • PTO meeting on October 6:  The next monthly PTO meeting will be held on Monday, October 6 at 1:30 in the Zeh Conference Room and all are invited to attend.  Want to get involved but can’t make the meeting?  Email us!

  • Walk/Bike Day on October 8: National Walk/Bike to School Day is next Wednesday, October 8.  Join us that morning between 8:10-8:25, and don’t forget to stop by the PTO table to sign the poster and pick up a charm!

  • Fall Book Fair coming up soon! This year’s fall book fair will be held October 27-31.  Families will have the opportunity to come in and shop together on the evening of Tuesday, October 28.  Stay tuned for more details and info on how to volunteer!
