Principal's Message

Dear Zeh Families,

We will have our first PTO meeting of the year on Monday, September 15th, at 6:30 PM in the Zeh library. I am so grateful for our supportive PTO, which helps make Zeh the wonderful school

that it is. From providing enrichment opportunities and field trips for students to showing appreciation for our staff, their impact is felt throughout our school. Whether you are a new or returning family, I hope you’ll join us Monday night.

I would also like to invite all families to march with Zeh in the Applefest Parade on Saturday, September 20th. Lineup begins at 11:15 AM at Lincoln Street School, and the parade starts at 12:00. We will walk together as a school, with our PTO providing candy for students to throw into the crowd, and Stripes the Zebra joining us for the fun. I look forward to seeing you there, whether you’re marching with us or cheering from the crowd!

Have a wonderful weekend!

E-Bikes & Scooters on Campus

Dear Families and Community Members,

The safety and well-being of our students and school community is always our top priority. Recently, we’ve seen more electronic bicycles (e-bikes) and scooters around our schools. While these devices are a popular way to get around, they can create safety risks due to their high speeds, limited visibility, and potential danger to riders, pedestrians, and drivers.

After careful review and consultation with the Northborough and Southborough Police Departments, e-bikes and e-scooters are now prohibited on all school campuses. This decision, made out of caution and concern for everyone’s safety, will help prevent accidents and maintain a secure environment for our students and families.

To support this protocol:

  • Signs will be posted at every school as a reminder.

  • School administrators will work with families to identify safe alternatives for traveling to and from school, including walking, using a traditional bicycle, riding the bus, or drop-off and pick-up by family members.

We appreciate your understanding and partnership as we take this important step to keep our campuses safe and welcoming for everyone. Thank you for supporting our efforts to protect our school community.

Respectfully,

Keith Lavoie

Assistant Superintendent of Operations
