Principal's Message

Hello Zeh Families,

I hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with time to relax & recharge. We are so excited to welcome our students back to school next Thursday, August 28th, and we’re looking forward to another great year of learning, growth, and community at Zeh.

To help ensure a smooth start to the year, here are a few important updates and reminders:

  • School Hours - Our school day runs from 8:30–3:00. Students may be dropped off beginning at 8:10 each morning. Any student arriving after 8:30 must be signed in by an adult in the main office. Bus routes will be emailed to families later this week and will also be posted on the district website.

  • Car Line Dismissal - If you are picking up your child, please place a sign with your child’s last name on your car’s dashboard/windshield. This helps us keep dismissal running smoothly, especially during the first few days.

  • Class Placement - Class placement letters were shared through ParentSquare last Wednesday. If you have any trouble accessing the information, please reach out to the office at (508) 351-7048.

  • School Supplies - Supply lists can be found on our school website or by clicking this link: Zeh School Supply Lists

  • Helpful Resource - For more details, please see this Zeh School Information Document with important information about school procedures.

Beginning Friday, August 29th, I will resume sending my weekly family newsletters. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. We can’t wait to see our Zeh Zebras back in the building and to start the year together!

Be sure to visit the full August-June Menus using this link that can be found on our school’s webpage under the Food Services tab: Breakfast & Lunch Menus

We are excited about the launch of our new food service provider this year. The Whitsons menu looks fresh, nourishing, and designed to give our students the energy they need each day.

Breakfast and Lunch will be grant-funded again this year. All students will eat free of charge.

Students who plan to eat breakfast will enter the cafeteria when they arrive each morning. Students should head to the cafeteria as soon as they arrive on their bus or car so that they can get to class when the bell rings at 8:30. Students arriving by car should arrive between 8:10 and 8:20 am to allow time to eat before starting their day.

Students planning to order lunch will do so once they arrive in their classroom. It is important that you review the menu with your child so that they can confidently make their choice upon arrival.

The district has several education support professional (aide) openings and is also looking for substitute teachers, nurses, food service workers, and custodians. At Zeh, we are specifically looking for a long-term sub for an aide as well as a food service worker. If you or someone you know is interested, please see the District Employment Website for more information.
